By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
Who we are
Mercer County Oil Tank Removal carries out residential heating oil tank removal, closure in place, tank sweeps, soil sampling and remediation across all twelve Mercer County municipalities. The work is performed by licensed, NJDEP-certified New Jersey tank contractors. We file the municipal permit, meet the subcode official on site and produce the closure documentation at the end.
Quotes and scope
Every quote is based on what is known about the tank and the site at the time we price it. Conditions found during excavation can change the scope: liquid or sludge in the tank, concrete or pavers over it, greater depth than expected, a second tank nobody knew about, or a discharge. Where that happens we will tell you what has changed and what it costs before we carry on.
You are entitled to see the certification and insurance covering your job before work begins. Ask us and we will provide it. Read the written scope before you agree to it.
Cost figures on this site
All prices, ranges and timelines published here are a general guide based on typical New Jersey rates. They are not quotes and they are not offers. Your actual price is confirmed once we have assessed the tank and the site. Prices change, and site conditions change them further.
Permit and regulatory information
Municipal construction office details, filing methods, inspection cutoffs and state rules described on this site were accurate to the sources available when the page was written. Offices change staff, hours, portals and fees. Confirm current requirements with your municipality before you file anything.
Not legal or environmental advice
Nothing on this site is legal advice, environmental consulting advice, engineering advice or real estate advice. Tank contamination can carry legal and financial consequences, particularly during a property sale. Speak to a New Jersey real estate attorney and, where relevant, a licensed site remediation professional.
Using the site
You agree not to submit false information, to submit another person’s contact details without their permission, or to use the form for anything other than a genuine enquiry about tank work on a property you own or are purchasing.
